Boarding

We have separate, heated/air-conditioned boarding areas for both dogs and cats. Our staff not only provide love and attention, they also are in charge of cleaning, feeding, administering any needed medications, and walking (dogs) multiple times a day in our fenced-in back yard. We also provide blankets and bedding, but you are welcome to bring a special bed or blanket from home.

We feed our boarding pets Royal Canin Gastrointestinal as our maintenance diet, but you are welcome to bring your own preferred food for your pet to eat during their stay.

A $25 deposit is required to hold your pet’s boarding reservation, and will be credited to your account at the time of check in. If you need to cancel (we know things happen!), please call us at least 24 hours before your reservation for a refund of your boarding deposit. No refund will be given for cancellations less than 24 hours before scheduled boarding.

For dog boarding, we require proof of up-to-date:

  • DHPP (distemper-parvo) vaccine
  • Rabies vaccine
  • Bordetella vaccine
  • A negative fecal test within the last year
  • Flea prevention within the last 30 days

For cat boarding, we require proof of up-to-date:

  • FVRCP (feline distemper) vaccine
  • Rabies vaccine
  • A negative fecal test within the last year
  •
Flea prevention within the last 30 days

New pets will be given a brief examination prior to admission for boarding to make sure there are no health conditions we need to monitor or address, or that may be worsened by boarding.
